Friday November 21th 1930 I was busy in AM. Wrote Laura. The Whetstones came for me to go to Byingtons. Buddy had a party. I went home with the girls and stayed till bed time. Rob in Kansas City. Letters from him interesting. Saturday November 22nd 1930 Did some washing. Wrote Blanche Black & Ott Seibert. Letters from Mattie Stilt & Mattie Fletcher. William took Hattie & me over there to listen to the game. Cora came after us. I got supper and read in evening. Iowa beat Nebraska. Sunday November 23rd 1930 Ott took me to church. We took Hattie home. After I got my dinner wrote Winnie & Lula Black. Later wrote Grace Moon Taylor. Read all evening. Monday November 24th 1930 Letter from Laura and wrote her. Bro Ott here for dinner. Rob brought Hattie. We went to see The Santa Fe Trail. I got some galoshes. Went to Dr Smiths office. Then selected a hat at Miss Zimmermans. Walked home. I read all evening. Tuesday November 25th 1930 It snowed all forenoon. I fixed the cuffs to my fur coat. Letter from Winnie. Wrote Mrs Wilson. I slept in PM and read in the evening. Wednesday November 26th 1930 Very stormy. Wrote Laura to not expect me now. Wrote Winnie I would come Sunday. Letter from Mrs Folk. I read some of the time. Birdie came at four oclock.
