Monday December 8th 1930 Winnie came with me to the station. Mary & Buddy met me and I went home with them for supper. I came home soon after looked over mail a letter from Ott Seibert. A box of fruit from The Falks. Tuesday December 9th 1930 I put my things away and went over the rooms. Letter from Ella Nagle telling Dan Ware had died. One from Laura. I wrote to Winnie & Mrs Falk. Soon after dinner went up town to pay bills. Was up in Otts office and to see Dr Ned Smith about the sore on the side of my face. The Whetstones in Cedar Rapids. Wednesday December 10th 1930 Wrote Ott Seibert and was busy with affairs up town paid several bills and got some things. I walked both ways. It is 12 years today since Will died.
