Monday December 22nd 1930 I did a lot of washing in the AM. Wrote some. Made tatting in PM. Hattie was here till supper time. Crocheted in the evening. Cold. Tuesday December 23rd 1930 I did some more writing. Got a lot of mail to look over. Mary took me up town in PM. I did errands. Got things for the box for Mrs. Clark left at No I store. I crocheted all evening. Wednesday December 24th 1930 I was most of the AM doing up packages for the home folks as well as a small package for both Mrs Gortner & Mrs Gay. Rob came for me soon after 5 oclock spent the night there. Sorry to say Cora not well. More mail today. Thursday December 25th 1930 We had breakfast this morning before we looked at the presents. Cora was able to be up. Hattie gave me a most beautiful kimono and Ott a dictionary. There were some other things. Mrs Gay had already give me a plant. The Byingtons came. Soon after we had a wonderful dinner that all enjoyed. Late in the afternoon Hattie and I went home with the Byingtons for a short stay. William brought us home. We spent the evening happily. Rob home part of the time. Cora down stairs most of the day. So another Christmas is gone.
