Tuesday January 11th 1927 I went out to phone Louie Bremson. Then wrote to Hattie Winnie & I had early dinner and went down town Did errands. Went to a show. It was dark when we got home Wednesday January 12th 1927 I had a letter from Lydia that Laura is sick. I will not go to Delavan Wrote her and to William and Hattie of my change in plans. We were going out to Austin to a church meeting It stormed all afternoon Thursday January 13th 1927 It snowed nearly all day Had a letter from Lydia. Wrote Edith Whetstone and note to Will Lovegood. We could not go out on account of the storm Friday January 14th 1927 It was a frightfully cold day. Had a letter from William Byington. Wrote Tishie Hedges was only out of the home to mail letters. Read in evening Saturday January 15th 1926 Very cold 5 below zero. I had a special delivery letter from Flora Lovegood I went out to telephone her a letter from Roxie [Roboner?]. Winnie busy about the house in AM I wrote Lydia and Mary Byington in PM I read the papers and book what spare time I had Sunday January 16th 1927 It was a cold day. Winnie did not go out at all I was sick all day and on the bed most of the time I did not feel well enough to read the papers.
