Saturday January 22nd 1927 I knit some on bead bag. Winnie busy with the work all A M. I read and rested. Weather fair Sunday January 23rd 1927 Winnie & I went up to Fred Givens to listen to a sermon over the radio, It was late when we had dinner. I wrote Bess [Eovens?] and Lydia. Read some. Monday January 24rd 1927 I had letters from Ott. Mary and Lorna Mason with note from Ida in it on the early mail. I wrote Hattie and Emma Davis. Soon after dinner Winnie and I went down part way to the city to do errands. I wrote Lizzie Lindley in the evening Tuesday January 25th 1927 I had a letter from Ida (wrote to her) telling Harry was not well. I wrote Mary and sent the letter to her Soon after dinner Winnie & I went out to Maywood to visit the Lovegoods. They brought us home. Letter from Tishie Hedges. Wednesday January 26th 1927. It was very late when we got up. I wrote Cousin Jen. Winnie and I went to the city after early dinner we went to see "Abies Irish Rose." It was fine. Very cold. Thursday January 27th 1927 Winnie & I went down to the city in the A M was at the Orpheum to see a picture show "The General" after that did some errands and had lunch before coming home. I had a letter from Emma Davis in the A M. and from Hattie later she said Ott was not well. Weather pleasant today.
