Wednesday February 2, 1927 I did my ironing in the forenoon and in the afternoon Winnie and I went up to Fred Givens. I had a letter from Mary. Did packing in evening. Thursday February 8th 1927 The taxi came for me at 9.15. I had plenty of time to get ticket and ready for train. A very pleasant days trip. Had no trouble at Columbus to get baggage and over to Bus Station. Ida was looking for me. After a little visit went to bed. Friday February 4th 1927 I put my things in order and visited with Ida. Wrote Winnie and Mary. Walked down town in afternoon to get some things. Letter from Hattie. She is in Burlington. Ida out for a church supper and business meeting. fine day. Saturday February 5th 1927 It was a dark foggy day. I wrote Hattie and read some. Ida busy with the home affairs. Sunday February 6th 1927 Ida and I went to church. A gentleman took us up on the hill. Wrote Winnie and read some. We listened to the radio in evening. Wrote Lydia too Monday February 7th 1927 I was busy for myself in AM.
