Tuesday February 8th 1927 I helped some with the work as Miss Reid is still not able to be up. Ida away in the PM. I slept awhile. A letter from Hattie. Wrote Mrs Falk. Wednesday February 9th 1927 I read most of the forenoon. Ida away in the PM. I wrote Warner McCall and John Stitt after dinner and took the letters to the office. A letter from Winnie. Thursday February 10th 1927 I read some in forenoon and wrote to Hattie. Early in the afternoon Ida and I went to a club meeting near by and later to the other side of town to a reception. It was snowing part of PM. Friday February 11th 1927 I was busy with different things. Read some and took a sleep. Ida down town in PM. We went up on the hill by taxi in evening to hear piano music. Saturday February 12th 1927 It was a beautiful day. I went to Newark by bus to get tickets for "Ben Hur." I got one for Miss Reid too. It was a nice little trip and we enjoyed the picture. A letter from Hattie. Very tired early to bed. Sunday February 18th 1927 A rainy day freezing as it fell. I went to a Presbyterian church in the morning. Ida did not feel able to go. I slept awhile in the afternoon and wrote Hattie, Ott Seibert, and Winnie. Read in the evening.
