Saturday February 19th 1927 It was late when we got up. Ida decided to go to Cleveland. I went to the bank for her while Miss Reid helped her get ready. She left on the eleven oclock bus for Columbus. I put my room in order before noon. I wrote Lydia and Fannie in the afternoon and went down town. Read in evening. Sunday February 20th 1927 It snowed last night and most of the day. I read till early afternoon and took a long sleep. Father & Mothers wedding day. Read in the evening. Monday February 21st 1927 I helped some with the work while Miss Reid did the washing. I had letters from Hattie, Emma Davis, and Will Work. I wrote Matt Owens and sent a clipping Hattie sent me about Warren Cothells estate. Read some. Tuesday February 22nd 1928 I had a letter from Ida and wrote her and Warner McCall. The weather was too unpleasant to go out. I read some and knit on bead bag. Read in the evening. Wednesday February 23rd 1928 The snow melted away last night. I wrote Hattie and Gertrude Mitchell in the forenoon. I went down town to do errands for Miss Reid and to see Dr Hosick about a sore on the side of my face. Later over to Mrs Johnsons of an errands. In the evening Miss Read and I went to a pleasant recital with her. One of the boys is not well and his brother is here caring for him.
