Sunday March 27th 1927 I went to church alone. Ida in bed part of the day. I read a book in afternoon and evening. Monday March 28th 1927 I knit some in forenoon. Went to office. Had letter from Lydia and Lizzie Lindley. I wrote Lydia, Hattie, Mrs Edwards, Ruth Osborne and John Stitt taking the letters to afternoon mail. Ida in Newark. Wrote Lizzie Lindley in evening. I am going away Thursday. Tuesday March 29th 1927 It was nine years today since Will and I left Oklahoma City together for the last time. The changes that have come since then. I wrote a note to Amanda Anderson. Went to PO later. Had two letters from Hattie, one written two weeks ago, and one from Fannie. Noomia Miller has come to help care for her sister. I knit on bag part of the day. Evening with a neighbor. Wednesday March 30th 1927 Wrote to Lydia and went to PO. Ida in bed most of the day. Went to Music Club programe in afternoon with Mrs Shafter and to Orchestra with Miss Reid in evening. Thursday March 31st 1927 I did my packing and went to PO. Soon after dinner Ida and I went to Columbus by Bus. Stopped at The Seneca Hotel. Later went to Capitol Building. Ida to make a call. I to the hotel. I talked to Ina Penniston and Mrs R R Reed. Ida had supper with me. Went home on the nine oclock bus. Mrs Reed & daughter called. Wrote Mattie Fletcher and Hattie.
