Monday May 9th 1927 Winnie was out on errand in the forenoon. I busy at home. Soon after lunch went out to Maywood, a nice ride on the car. There was hard storm about supper time. The Levagoods brought us home. Letter from Lydia. Hatties birthday. Tuesday May 10th 1927 We went down town early. To the McVickers to a good show. Then had lunch and was in the stores. I bought a pair of shoes and a hand bag. Home soon after three. I wrote to Fannie. weather cooler. The Givens called in evening. Wednesday May 11th 1927 Winnie out in the forenoon. I read some. We left soon after lunch for a meeting on West Harrison St. I had a letter from Hattie and wrote her. Evening here. Thursday May 12th 1927 It is 41 years today since Will & I were married. I had letters from Emma Davis and Lydia. I phoned Emma and The McCalls. Wrote Cousin Jen and Ida before noon. I spent the afternoon with Warner McCall. After supper Winnie and I went up to Givens. They took us for a ride down town and brought us home. A beautiful day. It is 41 years today since Will and I were married. Friday May 13th 1927 I got my things ready to go home. Had a taxi to The station. A pleasant journey. It rained before I got here. Spent the evening talking with the girls. A letter from Lizzie Lindley. She tells me Harry Graham died the 3rd of May. Rob out of town.
