Sunday May 29th 1927 Rob & Cora took us to S S and Ott & William brought us home after church. Cora had a nice dinner (Lillian home for a few days.) We slept in PM. Later Rob took us to cemetery with flowers. Rob 44 years old today. Evening at home. weather cool. Monday May 30th 1927 Hattie and I went up to Ella Sanders to look at the parade pass for decoration day. She went over to Fannies in the afternoon. I read some and took a nap. The sun shone in the afternoon. Tuesday May 31sy 1927 I did some sewing in AM. Cora took us down town soon after dinner. Hattie and I went to picture show and then by bus out to call on Helen Whinnery. When we came back to see Mrs Bradway. Cora came for us. I had a letter from LeGrand. Read in evening. Wednesday June 1st 1927 I was sewing in AM. Wrote Emma Davis. Hattie and Cora to Mrs Shafters luncheon. When they came back we went over to Otts to supper. It is their 40th wedding day. Rather nice day. We stayed till ten oclock. Thursday June 2nd 1927 It rained in AM. Wrote to LeGrand. Had letter from Cousin Jen. I sewed some in afternoon and took a sleep. Rob took Hattie & me to prayer meeting and we walked home. Then read some.
