Wednesday June 15th 1927 I came down by street car. Stopped at Ruppert and Seamans and bought a picture. They brought it down in the afternoon. I paid for the furniture I got yesterday. I had lunch here. Did some sewing and other things. Hattie here late in PM. Rob took us home. After supper we took Cora to West Liberty to go north. It was eleven oclock when we got home. Thursday June 16th 1927 I came down town with Rob about ten oclock. Was at Dr Strykers and bought a pair of shoes. Had lunch at the rooms. I read and did some other things. Had supper down town. Spent some time with Mrs Bradway. Went to prayer meeting. Hattie there. We went home by taxi. Letter from Bess Eavens. Friday June 17th 1927 I did not go town today. Wrote Lizzie Lindley and Lydia. Hattie had Ella Sanders here for lunch and Fannie was here later with the baby. Rob gone since yesterday. The evening with the Radio. Saturday June 18th 1927 Rob home. He sent the truck after me. I brought a table I am to have. Went up town. Got rug for bed-room. Was at Dr Strykers. Had lunch at the rooms. The men came to hang pictures and others came for chairs to fix. Hattie over to Fannies for the day. When they took her home stopped for me. Rob away again. We listened to radio in evening.
