Friday July 15th 1927 It was very warm. I knit on bag, slept in afternoon. Edith busy with different things. She went after the mail and brought letter from the girls. Evening on porch. Wrote to Tishie. Saturday July 16, 1927 I did a lot on bead bag. Edith up town in AM. I slept awhile in afternoon. Went up town after supper. A letter from Hattie tells she starts to Minneapolis today with Otto & Fannie. She also wrote that "Pike" was killed by an Auto Sunday night. It looks so stormy we did not go to bed till late. Sunday July 17th 1927 it was cooler so I walked to S S and church. Edith came later. We walked home. My feet hurt all PM. She went to the cemetery. Will Duncan called and after he left I wrote Rob & Mattie Stitt. Letter from her yesterday from Chillicothe. Monday July 18th 1927 I knit what spare time I had. Edith up town in the AM. Letter from Hattie sent from Mason City Iowa. Wrote she and Birdie in PM after a sleep. Edith up town after supper. Mr Albers brought her home. Tuesday July 19th 1927 I knit on bead bag. Slept in PM. Wrote sister Ida. Howard and Helen Louis here in the evening with Frank Woolfs folks. Wednesday July 20th 1927 Wrote Warner McCall in forenoon. Edith went up town and in the country with Mr Albers in afternoon. I knit on the bag and rested some. Evening at home.
