Sunday September 11th 1927 Left St Paul at 11.25. The wait not tiresome and I had rested well at night. The day was warm but looked like rain at sun-down. Went to bed early. Monday September 12th 1927 It was cooler today and travel pleasant. I reached Glacier Park at 8.30. Wrote Hattie & Emma Davis. The Hotel is very beautiful. Went to bed early. Tuesday September 13th 1927 It rained some today. I rested and wrote letters. Lydia, Winnie & Birdie. Got organized with a Miss Toe who was interesting. Wrote W B Mc--- before supper. Left at nine oclock. I enjoyed the stay very much. Wednesday September 14th 1927 Slept well last night. The ride through The Cascades in the afternoon wonderful. Reached Tacoma at nine oclock. went directly to Park Hotel and to bed. Thursday September 15th 1927 Left Tacoma at 10.25 and was at Centralia at 12--- Lizzie had dinner ready. I wrote Hattie and sent the letter by air mail. Extra expense $14.35. Friday September 16th 1927 Lizzie & I up town in AM. Later wrote Ott Seibert. We went down to Mr Pattons for black berries. weather fine. Saturday September 17th 1927 We were up town in AM. Ivan Swarthout and family came in afternoon. I had letter from Hattie. Spent the evening visiting.
