Sunday September 25th 1927
We went to church and to the new hotel for
dinner. Read some. Wrote Fern Patterson and
Miss Louise Allen. We went to church in the evening.
Monday September 26th 1927
Was busy at home all AM. We went to a picture
show in PM. Letter from Hattie. It rained in evening.
Tuesday September 27th 1927
We were home all day it was so rainy. I worked on
lace and took a nap. We went up town for supper.
Wednesday September 28th 1927
Lizzie had letter The Cohoons had moved to Doty
so we went down by train to spend the afternoon.
I had a letter from Mattie Fletcher & Betty Boswell.
Thursday September 29th 1927
I went up town for Lizzie in AM and stopped to
order reservation for Monday. Wrote Mattie. We
went to church supper. I wrote Nettie Moore later in the evening.
Friday September 30th 1927
Went up town for errands of my own. Did some
washing after dinner. Wrote Betty Boswell, Winnie,
Hattie & Rebecca Patton. Evening at home.
Saturday October 1st 1927
Lizzie and I left for Puyallup at noon. Mary Alice
met us. We went to Art Robinsons. Later Ivan came
and took us to Swarthouts for supper. He brought us
back to Robinsons to spend the night.
It has rained by spells today.
