Sunday October 2nd 1927 Had a pleasant forenoon visit at Robinson and after a late dinner got on a bus for Tacoma. We changed there for the one to Centralia by way of Olympia. A nice ride and pleasant time away. Monday October 3rd 1927 Got my packing done and Mr Young took my suit case to the depot. Lizzie had Mrs Gibbens to eat lunch with us. I left Centralia soon after twelve. It rained part of afternoon. A short wait at Portland. Good train. Tuesday October 4th 1927 I slept well and woke up at Huntington. Later I had breakfast and reached Boise about eleven oclock. Came over to Fletchers in a taxi. Spent the afternoon visiting. In the evening we called on a lady who was a Miss Scoles in Iowa City. Wrote Joe Williams, Lydia and Hattie. Wednesday October 5th 1927 I was at Matties all day. I wrote Lizzie. Spent the time visiting with the family. Miss Davis here in evening. Thursday October 6th 1927 The forenoon at Matties, a letter from Hattie. In the afternoon went over to Blanche Blacks. Her daughter took us to ride and they had a regular family party at supper. The daughter and husband brought me home. The weather bright and beautiful.
