Saturday December 3rd 1927 I was up in time to get myself and affairs ready to go to Chicago. Ott took me to the station. Milt & Mollie Moon were on the train going to Biloxi. Nice days trip. Out to Winnies in taxi. Spent evening visiting. Sunday December 4th 1927 Spent forenoon at home. Winnie & I went to McCalls in afternoon. Warner and Mable there alone. Warner can walk with a cane alone. Looks well. Wrote Lydia & Ida in AM. The Levagoods spent the evening with us. Monday December 5th 1927 We went down town, had lunch and tried to find The Parsons at Great Northern. Rested at Fields before taking the bus for Green View Ave where we spent the PM with The Woolfs. I took Joe and Emma out to supper with us. Home by nine oclock. Wrote Hattie, cousin Jen & Alice Condon. Tuesday December 6th 1927 Winnie went down street. Later we went out to Louie Bremners for the day. Such a pleasant visit. It rained some as we went home. Evening here reading a book. Wednesday December 7th 1927 It rained some today. Winnie and I started to Austin. She had to walk a distance to her meeting and gave it up. I went on to McCalls for a last call this time. Evening reading. Thursday December 8th 1927 Very cold but Winnie and I went to the city to see Seventh Heaven. Spent evening at Fred Givens. My most delightful visit nearly to an end.
