Mrs Shafter & Dorothy were there. They all came over to Whetstones for supper and grab bag which was great fun. We heard late in the day that Uncle Jim had died at noon. weather good. Monday December 25th 1927 I picked up my things and came down to my rooms by taxi. Anna Klein in a few moments. I wrote Mattie Stitt, Ida, Winnie & Alice Condon of Uncle Jims death.
