Wednesday January 18th 1928 Went home with Ott at noon. I stayed with Buddy while Mary was away. She brought me home at 5 oclock. Wrote Ott Seibert. Rained in evening. Thursday January 19th 1928 I had a bad night. Phoned the Dr and Ott. He came down before Dr Harold Smith did. Early in PM the Byingtons came for me. Went directly to bed. Letter from Winnie. Friday January 20th 1928 A cold windy day. All day in bed. I cough very hard. I gave tickets to concert to Mrs Doyle. Mary gave hers away too. Saturday January 2st 1928 About the same. Rob sent me a plant. Cora here to see me. Sunday January 22nd 1928 Ott to church and brought Euclid Sanders home with him. I had letters from Hattie, Joe Woolf, Gertrude Mitchell, Lydia & LeGrand. Wrote Hattie. Jennie Sterritt called. The Dr here in AM. Monday January 23rd 1928 My cough a little better. Mary did washing. She went to town late in afternoon. She brought some things I needed. Ott went away again. Mary away in evening. I was down stairs. Tuesday January 24th 1928 Mary over town in AM. Letter from Ida and Mrs Falk. Wrote Hattie. Mrs Doyle sent a beautiful plant. I was up some. Wednesday January 25th 1928 Mary out to a luncheon. I had letter from Fannie and note from Mrs Doyle. In afternoon wrote Lydia & Alice Condon. Later wrote Fannie & Winnie. Ott home at 7.30.
