Thursday January 26th 1928
The Dr came to see me again today. I was down
stairs in afternoon. Orie Spencer called. I wrote
Mrs Falk and Joe Woolf. Went to bed again before supper.
Friday January 27th 1928
I got up before noon and put on my dress. Mary
away awhile. She has new help. Wrote L D L & Ida.
Letter from Hattie and Birdie. Rob called. I had my supper at the table.
Saturday January 28th 1928
I did not get up till noon. Mary at a luncheon.
weather cold. I wrote Edith Whetstone. Read in a book.
Sunday January 29th 1928
It snowed some last night. Ott went to S S and church.
William came before noon. I got up for dinner. In the
afternoon when all the rest were resting I wrote Hattie
and W B Mc---. Ott to the office to write late in afternoon.
Mary & William away in the evening. I reading a book.
Monday January 30th 1928
William took Ott down to Lone Tree and as soon as
he got back he and Mary went to Cedar Rapids. I
read some, took care of Buddy, and wrote Cousin Jen.
Tuesday January 31st 1928
I took care of Buddy while Mary did washing. She
brought me home soon after lunch. I ordered some
groceries and put things away. I had letter from
Fannie, Lydia and Emma Davis. Mrs Doyle in a
few minutes. I went to bed early.
