Tuesday February 7th 1928
I did some washing, went in to see Mrs Benda a
little while. Had letter and picture from Laura Mason.
Minnie Showers here in PM. Later Mary & Buddy. I wrote
Laura and Mrs Falk in evening. Still raining today.
Wednesday February 8th 1928
I was busy about the rooms and Louise Hughes came
for a call. Had lunch early and Mary came for me
to stay with Buddy. I wrote Hattie in PM. Ott
brought me home. Letters from W B Mc---, Fannie & Nellie B---.
Thursday February 9th 1920
Had letters from Winnie, mailed letter to her and
Mattie Stitt. Went up town in PM, paid telephone,
light & gas bill, my bill at Dr Smiths and bought
a coat at Strohs. Read in evening, went to bed early.
Friday February 10th 1928
Was busy in rooms early in AM. Minnie Showers here in
PM. After she left I went out to Aunt Emmas stayed till
after supper and stopped at Will Andersons. I was out
with Mary & Buddy awhile in forenoon. Letter from Hattie.
Saturday February 11th 1928
I put in the forenoon cleaning, wrote Fannie in PM,
and ripped up a rug to fix over. In evening went to hear
"The Renelers" with William, Mary & Mrs Doyle. weather fine.
Sunday February 12th 1928
To church with Ott and home with him for dinner.
William brought me home at three. Read in Mr Prohask
most of the time. Anna Kleim here in evening.
