Monday February 13th 1928 It was rainy day. Bro Ott here for dinner. I was busy with a rug I am working over. The paper tonight told Anna Fletcher Irish died in Oakland Saturday. wrote Louie Bremner, Emma Davis & W B Mc--- Tuesday February 14th 1928 I was busy till time to go to The Elder Daughters at Louie Hughes. There was about thirty there and we had a good time. Letters from Hattie & Edith Whetstone. Wrote L D L. Wednesday February 15th 1928 I washed curtains and wrote Hattie in AM. After dinner a birthday note to Mrs Jennie Wilson. Cora came for me at three oclock. We met Mary and a friend at the store and went to hear The Minneapolis Symphony. I went home with Cora and we came to the evening program. Will Bremner in town today but I did not get to see him. weather very good. Thursday February 16th 1928 I ironed and put up some curtains and washed more. Then sewed on rug. After supper called on Mrs Bradway before prayer meeting. Rode home with The Rhinds in their new car. Letter from Hattie. Friday February 17th 1928 It snowed all day. I ironed curtains and put them up. Washed drapes. I put in all the afternoon sewing on a rug. In the evening fixed underwear. Had letters from Birdie & Mattie Stitt. Very tired went to bed early.
