Sunday March 4th 1928 I wrote Rob & Cora before we went to church. We had our dinner at Hutchinson Hall. Then were callers all afternoon. Mr Riemers and his mother to see me. Letter from Alice Condon. Iowa City paper of Thursday told of Mrs Bradways death and Bro Ott is proposed by the bar to succeed Judge [Otts?] who died Feb 24. Monday March 5th 1928 I did some washing for myself and wrote Hattie and Ott Seibert in forenoon. We went to town soon after dinner. I did some errands and waited at Mrs Learys for Mrs Falk. A letter from Mrs Doyle. The Falks had company in evening. Tuesday March 6th 1928 I wrote LeGrand and Alice Condon in forenoon. Mrs Falk & I went down town in PM. We called at Mrs Taylors & Mrs [Lowesmans?]. It was a lovely day. I had letters from Hatti, Rob & Ott Seibert. We stopped at Major Lowes on the way. I read in the evening. Wednesday March 7th 1928 I sent cards to Rob, Lydia, Mollie Stevens and Harter [Apt?] No4. I wrote L D L and sent check to Mr Harter. After dinner Mrs Falk took me with some friends to Orange City. I had letter from Ott and Edith Mason. To church in evening. Thursday March 8th 1928 Read some in AM. Slept after dinner. Wrote Ott and sent some cards. Mrs Lowe and another lady called. Mrs Falk and I drove down for the mail. A letter from Fannie with others enclosed and from Mrs Doyle. We went to The Student Prince in evening.
