Monday March 26th 1928 Wrote Rob & Mattie Stitt in AM. Mrs Falk and I went down town in PM. I made two calls before she left me at Pickens. Was sorry to find Louise in bed where she has been ever since she came 10 days ago. Letters from Mrs Doyle, Aunt Emma, and Ida. Tuesday March 27th 1928 Got mail ready for Hattie, Mrs Doyle and bro Ott and did my packing before dinner. There was a hard rain later, but cleared at three oclock so they all went with me to The Station. Reached Jacksonville on time at 9.45 train left for the north. Wednesday March 28th 1928 Was at Atlanta by breakfast time, ate lunch from my box. The car comfortably full. Had good supper in Diner and early to bed. Enjoyed the journey today. Thursday March 29th 1928 I slept well both nights on the train. We were late in St Louis so had no time for breakfast. A tedious wait at Road-House. Got dinner there. Mr Albers met me in Delavan. The girls had a good supper ready. A letter here from Fannie. Wrote her after supper. Friday March 30th 1928 It has snowed in the night. I did not get up till nearly noon. Mr Albers brought my suit case with things I needed. Laura did not come to dinner. I wrote Mary Byington and Mrs Falk and pressed my dresses in PM. Letter from Ott with paper to sign. Ten years today Will & I left Oklahoma together the last time.
