Friday May 18th 1928 Did washing and cleaning in AM. Sewed on my rug. Wrote to Winnie. Hard rain at three oclock. Mrs Doyle in. I worked on rug and read in evening. Saturday May 19th 1928 I went up town early for things. Rob took me home with him to lunch. We all rode down town and later we brought Birdie to The Station. I stopped here. After supper up town with Mrs Doyle. Sunday May 20th 1928 Ott took me to S S & church. Later her brought Fannie to church. Hattie came home with me. We read and slept. Rob came for her later. Evening with Mrs Doyle. Monday May 21st 1928 Letters from Winnie, Lydia & Ida. She expects to come here about the middle of June. Lydia writes that Nora Boher Wills is dead. I wrote Winnie. Tuesday May 22nd 1928 I went up town for things for dinner. Rob & Cora were here. She stayed part of the afternoon. I worked on my rug and read in the evening. Wednesday May 23rd 1928 Worked on the rug. Hattie here for supper we went to see Les Miserables. Very good. I read after I got home "warm" Thursday May 24th 1928 I worked on my rug. Mary here late in afternoon. Had a letter from Winnie. Wrote her, Ida, Lydia & Warner. Took the letters to office after supper and read some.
