Monday June 4th 1928 I worked about the place till noon. Then went to The MacBride dinner at "The Union." Mr Rowe and Ott were there and we ate with them. A very pleasant occasion. Did work after coming home. Tuesday June 5th 1928 It rained all day. I worked till noon carrying things over to my rooms. I ate my dinner there about three oclock. Had two men finish the moving for me. I had card from Lydia and letters from Mrs Doyle and Ida. I wrote both after supper. Anna Kleim here in evening. Wednesday June 6th 1928 I put up some curtains in forenoon. Went to meeting at The Church in afternoon. Hattie came with me down to The Jefferson where we found Fannie with Kate Rowe and bid her good-by. One of the boys from the store came for Hattie. They took some things up there in the truck. Wrote Mattie Stitt in evening. Thursday June 7th 1928 I did some things before I went to Hatties in a taxi at 9 oclock to a breakfast given by The Reds. Rode home with Mary & Fannie. They had been to the station to take The Rowes to the train for Chicago. I wrote W B McC--- before I went by taxi over to Mrs Kuevers to a group meeting. She brought me home. The Whetstone went to a party. I went to prayed meeting with The Andersons. Hattie & Mrs Raymond there too. Ott went to Springfield Ohio tonight. Rain this evening.
