Friday June 8th 1928
Finished fixing up my curtains and wrote Lydia
before I had my dinner. I went up town in afternoon
to pay some bills and get something for kitchen floor.
Saturday June 9th 1928
I was busy about the rooms all AM. Mrs VanHorne was
getting the other apartment ready for Dorothy. I wrote to
L D L and LeGrand in the afternoon. Went to the PO
and up town after supper. Read awhile and went to bed.
Sunday June 10th 1928
The Anderson took me to S S and church. Hattie came
home with me. Later Rob came to take us to ride. The
Byingtons were here for a call. Fannie went with us.
I had only got home when The Anderson stopped to
take me to Stevens. Later I went to church with them.
Monday June 11th 1928
I did a lot of washing and cleaning in AM. After lunch
wrote Ott Seiberftt and got box ready to send to Ruth Vaughan
at four oclock went to Mary Davis Smith funeral. Hattie
was there. We went to the cemetery. She came home
with me. Rob & Cora came for her. I put in the evening
packing a trunk with things to go to Whetstones for storage. Letter from Ida.
Tuesday June 12th 1928
Went up town for things. Ott & Fannie here for dinner.
They tell me they are going to see LeGrand. I had
letters from Mrs Doyle, Ott Seibert and Ida Burkett.
She writes me Sadie died May 1st. A hard rain
at supper time. Very tired, went to bed early.
