Monday June 18th 1928
Idas trunk came this morning. I wrote Winnie,
Cora & Hattie came for us to go see The Air Planes come
in. Spent the evening talking and reading. Letter from Edith Whetstone.
Tuesday June 19th 1928
I went up town in AM. Did a lot of errands. A
nice letter from Joe Williams. Hattie & Ida Anderson
here in afternoon. Mollie Moon spent the evening.
Wednesday June 20th 1928
Ida up town awhile. I did some extra work about
the house. We both slept after dinner. Ott & Fannie
here. We read in evening. weather very warm.
Thursday June 21st 1928
I did some washing. Wrote Warner. went to library.
We were in all day busy with different things.
Friday June 22nd 1928
A very hard rain in AM. In afternoon Dr Bates came
to take came of my feet. Mary came late in the PM
and we had supper & spent evening over there. William
came home. I had nice letter from Emma Davis. Wrote Lydia.
Saturday June 23rd 1928
Was up town for a lot of things. Tried to get shoes. Hattie
here awhile. Ida to see the doctor. We went to a
good show in the afternoon. Evening readying at home.
Sunday June 24th 1928
It rained all forenoon. We could not get to church.
Slept in PM and read. Wrote L D L. We went to Christian
church in evening. I also wrote to Ida Burkett.
