Monday September 3rd 1928 I was busy about the place in AM. After dinner The Woolfs came and took me up to Hatties. She went with us for a ride on the West Side. Was here for supper. With Cora we went to show in evening. Tuesday September 4th 1928 I took things to the garret and did some other thins. Went up town for things after dinner. Was at Otts office. Read some after supper and went to bed early. Letter from Lydia. I paid bills when up town. Wednesday September 5th 1928 I went up town early to see about changing rug in small room. The other was here before noon. I was at The church to a meeting in the PM. Cora came then for Hattie & me. I went with them to select address for Cora and a rug for Hatties room. Thursday September 6th 1928 Was rather idle for forenoon. Had lunch early. Mary came for me when she did for Ott. Spent the PM with Fannie. They brought me home. Read in evening. Friday September 7th 1928 Mrs Gay came up and helped me hang pictures. I wrote Lydia, Winnie & Cousin Jen. Went up town before supper. Read in a book in evening. pleasant. Saturday September 8th 1928 It is 48 years today since John & Hattie were married. I was up town in AM. Hattie here most of afternoon. I had letter from Ida and wrote Mrs Falk and Ott Seibert. Went to PO after supper. Warm today.
