Thursday September 20th 1928
I finished the peaches by noon. Have 14 qts.
About three oclock Hattie & Robert Jellison came
for me. The third party was there for a tea.
Everything beautiful. I staid for a tea.
The Byingtons brought me home. Wrote Winnie in afternoon.
Friday September 21st 1928
I was up town in AM. They brought Buddy
for me to care for while the luncheon was on
at Hatties. I took him a ride in The Bus. It
was late before they came for him. Letter from L D L.
Saturday September 22nd 1928
I fixed a curtain and washed some in AM.
Soon after dinner Rob came and took me up to
their house. The Girls had a reception. I have
enjoyed the parties. Rob brought me home. I
was up town later and read till bed time.
Sunday September 23rd 1928
Ott took me to church. I slept awhile in afternoon
and write Lydia, L D L, and The Levagoods in
Maywood. There was a cold wind today.
Monday September 24th 1928
Did some washing & ironing. Minnie Showers here
most of afternoon. Read a book in the evening.
Tuesday September 25th 1928
I did cleaning and put up kitchen curtains. Sewed
in afternoon. Went up town. In evening wrote
letter to McCorwines at Pheonix.
