Monday January 19th 1925 I went for a treatment and did some writing. Wrote Hattie in afternoon and read Iowa City papers. I finished the book of Mrs Lowes. Evening on the porch.
Tuesday January 20th 1925 I went down town and got a box to send a bag I had for Cora. I had a letter from Lydia with one she had from Grace Taylor telling that when she got home from her son Walters funeral a telegram was there telling of her Mothers death. I wrote to her. I slept some in PM. Later had letters from Hattie and Martie Patten & card from L. D L. Wrote Mary Price. Took mail to PO and listened to Band Concert. 
Wednesday January 21st 1925 I went for a treatment and then took a walk. Wrote Lydia and went to Pickens. Did not find them. Rested till supper time. Then wrote Birdie and Sciota Lape. Took mail to office. Then to science meeting. Mrs Falk there
Thursday January 22nd 1925
I spent forenoon across the street. Wrote Carrie Wilson and Lizzie Lindley. I took letters to office after supper. rain prevented band concert. Evening with Mrs Carl reading.
Friday January 23rd 1925
I went for treatment. Had letter from Wamer telling about the Banquet the 17th. Went up to Mrs Lowes after dinner. She brought me home. We rode and called on Mrs Mitchell. I wrote to Hattie before supper. Went to the PO and read in my room in evening.
