Friday February 27th 1925 When I was packing my trunk Mrs. Falk came to say she would take me out home with her for dinner. I went to the PO. Then ordered transfer for my trunk. Had a nice visit out at Falks. She brought me back at two oclock. I packed my bag and the Pickens took me to The Station. Reached Jacksonville on time, went directly to Hotel Flagler. Had supper wrote some notes then talked with ladies here in the house. Saturday February 28th 1925 Had breakfast before leaving on 8.15 train. I read some and talked with young man in same section with me. We came through late flooded district. Sunday March 1st 1925 Arrived at Washington on time. LeGrand met me. We went directly to 2009 F St for breakfast. My trunk came soon. I have a pleasant room. LeGrand was invited out for dinner. He was with me later. We talked and read. I wrote Hattie. It rained so I did not go out. went to bed rather early. Monday March 2nd 1925 It was cold and windy. I went out with LeGrand for lunch. I read some. LeGrand out in evening. I talked with Mrs. OLeary Tuesday March 3rd 1925 A little warmer. Went with LeGrand to lunch. Took a street car ride in afternoon. Spent the evening at home with LeGrand in my room. Letter from Ott with draft for $50.00. Wrote him in the evening
