Reginald Werrenroth sang. Very fine. Wednesday March 11th 1925 I was in my room all AM. Out to lunch and later down town to a matinee "New Brooms". Very good. Spent evening at home. LeGrand with me part of the time Thursday March 12th 1925 I wrote Hattie & Tishie Hedges before I went to see The White House. From there to Senate Chamber where I stayed till two oclock. To Library for lunch. Wrote Uncle Jim and Lydia. Letters from Hattie and Nellie McCall. LeGrand out for the evening. I talked to Mrs. O'Leary. Friday March 13th 1925 I went over to Smithsonian Institute. It rained so I came right back. I rested all PM and read some Letters from Laura, Hattie, and Lizzie Lindley. Wrote Lizzie a long letter after supper. LeGrand was home and in my room most of the evening.
