Monday June 29th 1925 I knit on bag in AM. Hattie down town. Alice Horne here for lunch. Noonia away for the day. Fannie came for me in PM and I stayed till after supper. They brought me home. Letter from Mrs Falk. Tuesday June 30th 1925 I was knitting on bag. Noonia away to her sisters wedding. It is 17 years today since Rob & Cora were married. I had letters from Lydia & Ida. Fine day. Wednesday July 1st 1925 Emma came today to make my dress. She finished that and made some changes in others for both Hattie and myself. I was so glad to get it done. Ensigns here in evening. It has turned warm. Thursday July 2nd 1925 I knit on bead bag all forenoon. Hattie and Cora to a luncheon. A very warm day. I wrote to Lydia, Ida and L D L in afternoon. Evening on porch. Friday July 3rd 1925 Still very warm. Cora not well. Hattie to luncheon at Red Ball. She and I down town in AM. I went to Dr Stewart. Birdie Harris came at supper time. Saturday July 4th 1925 Was on the porch in AM working on bead bag. Rested in PM. Ott & Fannie here for supper on the porch. And later neighbors and friends came to bring fire works and spend the evening. A very pleasant day and spent delightfully. I have been rather comfortable to enjoy it.
