Sunday December 6th 1925 We went over to visit Emily about thirty miles away. Did not get home till bed-time. A fine trip. Monday December 7th 1925 The folks went to work before I was up. I was busy most of the day. Wrote L D L and Fannie. Maime came about four oclock. We went after Ott and got my trunk. We stopped at Bible Institute to ask about Ella Wilcox and found she died yesterday. I had expected many pleasant hours with her. We had supper and I unpacked my trunk. weather delightful. Letter from Ott. Tuesday December 8th 1925 I got my breakfast and wrote Blanche Abernathy. I was going up town but could not lock the door right. After dinner wrote Edith Whetstone and Hattie. Maine and I had our suppers and met Ott at "The Granada" to see The "Phantom of the Opera." Letter from Corrie Wilson. Wednesday December 9th 1925 I was busy about the house in AM. A beautiful day. Wrote Lydia. It is 27 years today since Edith died. Read some in PM. We went after Ott and had supper later. Thursday December 10th 1925 I went down town by street car early in forenoon. Waited for Ott at "The Roslyn Hotel." We had lunch in a fine Cafeteria. Then went about in the stores till three oclock. I found a letter from Hattie at the office. Wrote Carrie Wilson. We came home by car. Very tired, went to bed as soon as we had supper. A perfectly beautiful day. Gave Ott check for thirty dollars.
