Sunday January 17th 1926 It was very late when we had breakfast. We got the work done and went for a ride over to the Beach and up part The Palisades. Stopped at The picture show on the way home. Had supper after that. Monday January 18th 1926 Wrote Lizzie Lindley in AM. I went to the doctor in PM. Then to office. Maime came for us. I had a letter from Ida and wrote to Hattie in evening. Tuesday January 19th 1926 I came over to Ediths a pleasant trip. We visited and rested in PM. I wrote to Ida. Paul not home to supper. Wednesday January 20th 1926 We were at home most of the day. I wrote Cal Forney and took mail to the box. Ediths cousin and friend here for the evening. Paul not here for supper. Thursday January 21st 1926 I wrote Fannie in AM. Came to Los Angeles soon after dinner. Was at Dr Emerys office. Then out home. Maime and I had supper and met Ott at Inglewood to see "The Pony Express." Had letters from Hattie, Ida Burkett and Blanche Black. Weather wonderful. Friday January 22nd 1926 I did some washing for myself and gave the house a good going over. Read Iowa City papers and slept two hours. We went after Ott. He and I had supper alone after we got back. Maime away for some reason. Letters from Lydia, Will Work, and Jim Cameron of Omaha.
