Thursday August 5th 1926 I did not sleep well last night. Feel badly. Wrote Bro Ott and Ida in forenoon. Letter from Joe Woolf. Had a good sleep in PM. Later letter from Hattie and wrote her. Very warm. Friday August 6th 1926 I was home all day. I saw in yesterdays paper that Bro Ott was nominated for Supreme Judge. I worked on Venes rug all afternoon. Saturday August 7th 1926 I worked on the rug most of the day and finished it. Edith and I rode up town with Mr Albers to do errands late in PM. I went to the dentist. Later a special delivery from The Girls. Sunday August 8th 1926 A nice day. I went to S S and church by taxi. The Websters were out for the day. Wrote W B Mc---. Monday August 9th 1926 I worked on the rug. Wrote Jennie Sterritt and Cora. Letter from Warner McCall (he was in a wheel chair.) and one from Fannie. Edith and Mr Albers went to Pekin to meet Laura and Lydia. They both look so well. Weather pleasant today. Tuesday August 10th 1926 The girls busy with callers and unpacking this morning.
