Sunday May 23rd 1920 I was busy all forenoon getting dinner. Ott & William were here. After dinner William and Mary went with me to Coralville to get some lilacs and to the cemetery to put them on the Byington lot. The place at Coralville looks desolate and lonely to me. It shows Will is gone. I wrote Hattie. Ott here for supper and evening on porch. Legrand 20 years old today. Monday May 24th 1920 I did some washing in forenoon ad when I was ironing the few things in afternoon Mrs Helmich came. Paul was here for supper and then Rob took us for a ride. Mrs Sheldrich was with us. a fine day. Tuesday May 25th 1920 I was busy with work most of the day. Mrs Helmich went to "Minneapolis Symphony" both afternoon and evening. Paul here for supper and the boys from the other house. Rob too busy to come. Mollie Stevens to stay all night. I am very tired from the work and my eyes hurt. Wednesday May 26th 1920 Mrs Helmich went home at 10.15. I got some dinner for Rob and slept some in afternoon. Monte here cutting the grass. I had head-ache and my eyes hurt. Thursday May 27th 1920 I was sewing part of the forenoon. Rob was some late to dinner. I went down to Otts and made bed as I washed and ironed a dress for myself. I had Ott and William come up for supper. The girls came home tomorrow.
