Friday June 25th 1920 Hattie did ironing. Edith and me picked over some strawberries that she put up in afternoon. I went to town with Rob. He left me at the cemetery. Later I went out to Aunt Emmas and Gertrude Smiths. Dr Ned brought me down town. I came home with Rob. We had a ride after supper. Ott & Fannie went with us. The Stevens came for a call. I washed dishes after the were gone. I had a letter from Mattie Stitts, she is in Los Angeles. She sent a clipping. Picture of Aunt Mary Dunlap 1010 years old. Saturday June 26th 1920 I was sewing some. I had to finish a dress Miss Fellman made. The folks home all day. I rode to town with Rob after supper. Got the last of stuff like dress, more than two yards, may change it some time. Stopped at Otts as I walked home. The Jellisons with some friends came in their Auto about nine oclock. Sunday June 27th 1920 a very warm day. The folks spent it here till late in afternoon. we went riding in two cars. I wrote to Lydia. After supper we sat in the yard and the boys sang some and we visited. How Will would have enjoyed it. Monday June 28th 1920 The folks started back to Des Moines very early. It was a hot day. I was busy with different things most of the day. Hattie Edith & Cora went to a dinner at [Ingol?] Swishers. Rob and I had supper alone. Set on the porch alone. It was ten oclock when the folks got home.
