Tuesday August 17th 1920 The folks were ironing most of the day. Cora did hers in afternoon. I fixed a table cloth to send to Vene. We took a little ride after supper. I rolled my things to iron. Was down to Fannies. She is wretched with asthma. Wednesday August 18th 1920 We left soon after breakfast to take Lorie to Cedar Rapids to stay a few days. Got home at 12.30. I did my ironing after that and slept some. Fannie is better. The folks were away part of the evening on picnic. I crotcheted and read. Thursday August 19th 1920 I washed all our dishes as Florence did not come today. I did up a package and wrote The masons and sent a letter to Laura as well. Hattie was away all afternoon. I went down to do Fannies dishes and spent afternoon there. Helped Ott get the supper and do the dishes. Coras Uncle came today. The folks all to town. I spent evening alone reading. LeGrand went away tonight. Friday August 20th 1920 I was sewing a little and hardly know how the time passes. I slept part of afternoon. We took a ride after supper. Hattie went back to town with Rob, Cora & The Uncle. Edith & I went to bed. Fannie is much better. Saturday August 21st 1920 I put in the forenoon doing baking in my kitchen. Lorie came at noon. I went to town with the folks to meet the Williams girls at 2.45, After that I was at Otts & Dr Smiths office. Cora brought me home. Bertha and I spent the evening down at Otts. A rain last night and fine today.
