Saturday November 6th 1920 I walked to town and back in forenoon. It began to rain before I got home. I worked till bed-time to finished the pillow cases I am making for Mary Anderson, a wedding present. Cora to town all day. Hattie down to Otts a couple of times. She slept all the evening. Cora to bed early. LeGrand came home today. Sunday November 7th 1920 I was busy about the back part of the house nearly all forenoon. The Dunlap children were here all morning because Mrs Dunlaps Mother is very sick. Late in afternoon Hattie and I were down at Otts. William had a bad night but felt some better now. We stopped at Mrs Teeters and Dunlaps on the way home. The girls both went to church. I read in the evening. Monday November 8th 1920 It rained all day. I washed some things but put them in the tub. Sewed in afternoon. Hattie to town all afternoon. Cora and I down at Otts. William is suffering greatly. wrote Lorie & Ida in the evening. Tuesday November 9th 1920 It had stopped raining so I put the clothes out to dry. I did a lot of other things. The girls did some cleaning about the house. Monte came coon after dinner and put away the rest of the screens and put up storm sash. We were all down at Otts. They took William to the hospital at 7 oclock. Wrote to Lydia about William.
