Thursday February 3rd, 1920 Ida in bed most of the day. I had letter from Mrs. Falk. I read and crotcheted some. Took a nap and Ida and I were over at Miss Mochs late in afternoon. Friday February 4th, 1921 It rained last night. I went for the milk and wrote both Jim Dunlap and Mrs. Falk about coming to see them. I went for the mail. Got letter from Hattie. Slept in PM Saturday February 5th, 1921 I went after the milk it rained so hard I went into Mr Nolans and did not get home till late. Got the mail after dinner. Later some ladies called. Rain in evening. Sunday February 6th, 1921 I read some in forenoon and wrote to Hallie in afternoon I took a walk to the PO. A card from Lydia tells me of the death of Mrs Shurts and Will Stevens. I had the Iowa City paper to read. Ida and I to church in evening with The Norse's. They lived in Portsmouth. Monday February 7th 1921 I went for the milk. Ida was up town most of forenoon. I wrote to Lydia and Mrs. Robinson. Very warm day. Ida went to the lecture in afternoon and evening. I went for the mail in the evening. Letter from Susan Garrett. Tuesday February 8th, 1921 Ida went to lecture in AM. She brought me letters from Lizzie Lindley and Jim Dunlop. I wrote to him. Rob & Hattie, Mr & Mrs Moore, Susan Garrett, and card to Mrs Falk. I slept late in PM. Ida and I went to the lecture in the evening
