Wednesday May 11th 1921 The girls had a big washing to do. It was dinner time when finished. They went for a little ride. I cleaned up the things and took the clothes form the line. I rested an hour. Then folded the clothes. The girls had gone to a party. After supper Rob & Cora took us to town. Mrs Fellman and Emma was with us to attend a house play. "Spring Time" home early. Thursday May 12th 1921 Thirty-five years ago Will and I were married. How I would like to have him with me now and how glad to be able to live the years with him over again. I helped Hattie with the ironing. She and Cora are getting things started to clean house. I had a letter from Lydia and wrote her in afternoon and forwarded her letter to Aunt Jane. I went down to Otts after supper. he got back from Chicago last night. It began to rain so did not stay long. Emma came to finish up a little work for Cora. Arth Folsoms birthday. Friday May 13th 1921 Hattie had Mrs Williams to help clean today and Monte came late in the afternoon. I did what I could about the regular work and wrote a note to Warner McCall and Arth Folsom. I walked out to Hedges after dinner to take some things I had for her and the note and some flowers Hattie sent to Arth. I met him so did not go in. Tishie gave me some warm rolls for supper. When I got here the folks were ready to start to Cedar Rapids in the car. I did not care to go along. Read the papers and went to bed.
