Sunday July 24th 1921 I wrote to Lydia in forenoon after I came from The Cemetery where Rob took me when the others went to church. We were all at Otts for dinner. Hattie and I came home to rest when Rob & Cora took Margie back to town. We were home in the evening. William started to Lincoln [not in the car?] Monday July 25th 1921 Hattie went to Oak Dale with The Byingtons. LeGrand came home from The [Worth?] this morning. He is to take charge of a hospital in Northern Minnesota the 1st of August I washed some things and cleaned the rest of my house. I slept in afternoon. Hattie and me down at Otts in the evening. Rob & Cora brought Margie back with them. Tuesday July 26th 1921 We heard this morning that Mrs Teeters had died during the night. Hattie and I went down to say good-bye to Fannies cousin. I met Mr Teeters just where he found Will and came to tell us. It was so sad. I put in the forenoon writing in this book and doing some ironing. I slept in afternoon and when I got up was met by LeGrand who told me a letter from William stated he and Mary were married and had been for four months. Hattie and I went to an Elder Daughters party in the evening. Wednesday July 27th 1921 I had a bad night and was in bed most of the day. The girls at home and Hattie at Teeters part of the time. Mrs Teeter buried at four oclock. I had Dr Smith come over after supper. Hattie and I alone all evening.
