Friday September 2nd 1921 I ironed in forenoon and did some sewing. I did not feel as well as yesterday. Had a letter from Lydia and wrote to her. Hattie down to Fannies. At supper time picked over grapes and scalded to make jelly. Saturday September 3rd 1921 Hattie made jelly in her kitchen. I made one kettle for her on my stove. I cleaned all the dishes in my cup-board. Rested awhile and dressed to go to town with the girls. Hattie and I selected a table cloth I bought for William and Mary. After supper we went down to Otts (He is out of town). Marys Father came for a visit. We took a ride till bed-time. Sunday September 4th 1921 Hattie to church. I got the jelly ready to put away and went down to Fannies a few minutes. Read the papers. We took Little Robert to the depot for the 3.30 train. It was late and a storm coming up so Cora drove us on home just in time to close the windows. a frightful storm. Rob came home in taxi. We all spent evening at home. Monday September 5th 1921 The men brought Hatties new gas stove and installed it before ten oclock. Then they started away for the day taking Mrs Sheldrick with them. I did not feel able to go. I hemmed the table cloth I got for William and Mary. Fixed myself some dinner and slept awhile. Woke with an awful head-ache and did not eat supper. The folks came but went away again. Back again at nine oclock. How I have missed Will today. Letter from Ida.
