Saturday September 10th 1921 I made a brown loaf for the M E bake sale and got to ride to town with it. I took Chiro treatment and rode home with Ott at noon. Took a nap in PM. Cora at the store some today. Evening at home. Sunday September 11th 1921 A fine day. The girls went to church. I looked after the diner. Rob took me out to Hedges in afternoon. I walked back. I felt I would like to take the car to Coralville. Rob & Cora to store. Hattie writing. I reading in evening. Monday September 12th 1921 I washed out some things in forenoon and ironed them late in afternoon. Hattie to Old Ladies Home luncheon. The evening to church and brought home a couple of gentlemen delegates. I spent the evening alone reading. Tuesday September 13th 1921 The girls did a big washing. I helped some. I went to town with Rob at noon. Did some errands. Took a treatment. Went up to the Cemetery. Called on Helen Danner Louis. Rob brought me home before supper time. I folded the clothes for Hattie. I read in little sitting room in evening. Very warm. Wednesday September 14th 1921 I got up early to help iron. I did some sewing today and helped with the work. Hattie had The Byingtons came up for supper. William and Mary go to Des Moines to live tomorrow. They stayed till nearly nine oclock. Then Rob & Cora drive to town awhile and Hattie and I washed the dishes.
