Wednesday October 5th 1921 We were busy most of the forenoon. I feel pretty tired. The girls all went down to Fannies to an Aid meeting. Hattie come home early to get supper. Ray Lee and wife Charlie Lee wife and neice were here for supper and evening. Hattie and I washed dishes after they were gone. Letter from Lizzie Lindley, a card from Mrs Pickens and letter from Lydia. Thursday October 6th 1921 The Whetstones and Sheldricks went to Cedar Rapids for the day. I talked with Jennie Shuck over the phone. She was married lately to a Mr Setrett. Ida and I spent the day pleasantly. We rode in afternoon with Fannie & LeGrand. The folks got home in time for supper. The Whetstones to town in evening. Wrote Lizzie Lindley. Friday October 7th 1921 Hattie went to Mt Pleasant with LeGrand and Fannie. Cold and windy today. I helped Cora with the work. I wrote Lydia. The folks got home in good time. Saturday October 8th 1921 Was busy with house-work in forenoon. She that was Lula Bloom and husband here for dinner. I rode to town with them did errands. Spent the evening at home. Sunday October 9th 1921 The folks riding. I helped get the dinner. Otts family here. They went away to make called. Hattie with them. Later Ida and I went too. Rob & Cora away for supper. I got time to write to Lizzie Lindley and Lorie.
