Thursday November 24th 1921 Thanksgiving Day. It rained most of the day. Nellie got the dinner herself. I wrote to Hattie and Lydia. Went to a picture show in the evening. The City is so beautiful at night. Friday November 25th 1921 I put my things in order to go to French Town in PM. I left at 3.30. Nellie went to the station with me. A letter from Rob tells me Poor Little Old Tonie dog is no more. Mr Able met me. The family made me very welcome. The evening was spent with Mr & Mrs Hagerman. He is afflicted. Saturday November 26th 1921 I wrote to Lorie this morning. Mrs Able and I went to Easton by train. It was raining when we got there. Took lunch with Dr Able. Come home at two oclock. After supper Mrs Able and I called on her sister and The Hagermans. There as company at the home till late bed-time. Sunday November 27th 1921 I started from Frenchtown at 7.50. I had much to think about. Why could not have Will been with me on this visit. Harry met me. After late dinner we rode awhile. Evening at home. Monday November 28th 1921 Harry went away very early. Nellie and I went down town. I got my tickets change. I had intended to go tomorrow But will wait till Friday. We had lunch and went to a picture show. I wrote to Rob in at Wanamakers and after we came home wrote to Mattie Stitt. We were tired and went to bed early. A stormy night. Harry called on long distance.
