Monday May 1st 1922 Another drizzling day. Some of the time in my room. Wrote Fannie. Letter from Belle Stinson, The Days, Jane & I to picture show in evening. Tuesday May 2nd 1922 Letter from Hattie. Read papers. Art took Jane and me out to Catherines where we had a nice visit till 8 oclock. Later Jane went down town with Mr & Mrs Day to see undertakers show. Wednesday May 3rd 1922 Walker down town. It rained so I came back in car. A letter from Lydia tells Gertrude Duncan died on Sunday. The papers tell of Mrs Prentiss death Monday AM. I went out to Gertrude Mitchells in afternoon. Evening at Janes with music. Thursday May 4th 1922 a beautiful day. I took an early walk. Called on Mrs Flick and Mrs Walker. Then down town to get some things. Was in my room part of afternoon. Wrote Lydia. Evening with music. Friday May 5th 1922 I was at Janes all morning. Letters and pictures from Ott and Fannie. Slept awhile in PM. Jane and I rode all the evening with Mr & Mrs Day. 28 years today since the big hail storm when we lived east of town. If I had the years again. Saturday May 6th 1922 I went down town and got present for Catherine. Was at Graces awhile. Latter from Hattie. Went down town after getting mail ready. Sunday May 7th 1922 Wrote The Reed girls. Went to church. Had dinner at Art McCallisters. It rained later in the day. This has been Dear Wills birthday. [duly?] think of four years ago today.
