Thursday July 6th 1922
I was home all day. Did not feel well in
afternoon. Wrote Hattie. Cora in town. Down to Otts in evening.
Friday July 7th 1922
I cleaned out my desk in the morning. Went to
town with Rob. Was at Dr Smiths office to have my
eyes treated. Then out to Aunt Emms. Rode home with Ott.
Saturday July 8th 1922
I emptied a bag of sugar and did some work in
my part of the house. Crotcheted in afternoon, wrote
Hattie. Took ride with Ott after supper. Eleanor went away tonight.
Sunday July 9th 1922
I went to Presbyterian S S and church with Ott and
had dinner with him. A hot forenoon. I wrote to Hattie
& Lizzie in afternoon. Rode to town with Ott after supper.
Monday July 10th 1922
It rained last night. Stellas sister came to work
today. I was crotcheting some. Wrote letter to Cousin Jen
and enclosed one from Laura. Down to Otts in evening.
Tuesday July 11th 1922
The girls did washing in forenoon. I helped some with
the work. I rode to town with Rob in afternoon. I
paid my church subscription and Dr Smith. I was
at The City Hall to see about cemetery lots. Then to
Burlington St depot to talk about trains. I then called
on Laura Mygott Cate. Rode home with Ott and later
took a rode with The Whetstones and Mrs Sheldrick.
